The New Cathedral and their windows – a themed tour

The gothic revival Cathedral in Linz is impressing by it´s sheer volume.

It is concidered the largest (although not highest) church in Austria. Especially pittoresque are the 77 wonderful glaswindows. Each tells a story from the building process, the life in its diocese and the history of Austria. Each window in lush colours, and spreads a special atmosphere into the church interior.
